TPSC Recruitment Details
Post Name: Food Safety Officer (FSO)
No. of posts: 15 [UR: 08, ST: 04 & SC: 03]
Qualification: A degree in Food Technology or Diary Technology or Bio Technology or Oil Technology or Agricultural Science or Veterinary Sciences or Bio-Chemistry or Microbiology or Masters Degree in Chemistry or BUMS/BSMS/ MBBS/BAMS/BHMS/BDS from a recognized University.
Candidates who have obtained degree in following subjects will also be apply: (i) Agriculture (ii) Horticulture (iii) Fisheries (iv) Community Science (Home Science) (v) Forestry.
Pay Scale: PB-3, Rs.10230-34800/- in Level-3 (GP Rs.4,800/-).
Age limit: 18 to 40 years as on 18.09.2024. Upper age limit is relaxable as per norms.

Selection Process for TPSC
Duration of Written Examination will be 2 (two) hours. The Recruitment process will comprise of two successive stages viz.
(i) Written Examination (General Study) of 85 marks (MCQ type).
(ii) Interview/Personality test for 15 marks.
Application Fee of TPSC
(i) Group-B Gazetted Posts: Rs.350/- for General Candidates and Rs.250/- for ST/SC/BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.
(ii) Recruitment fee so deposited, is non-refundable.
