Field Engineer – AWS

Maintains Automatic Weather Station (AWS) and environmental-monitoring equipment out of Shillong. Requirements: basic understanding of electrical/electronic circuits; familiarity with temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind, solar radiation, and pressure sensors; basic knowledge of data loggers and telemetry/communication tech (GSM/4G, LoRa, RS-232/RS-485, TCP/IP); ability to troubleshoot with a multimeter; basic Excel/reporting skills; GPS, geotagging, and basic GIS understanding desirable; ability to follow SOPs and maintenance checklists; good documentation habits. Common essential skills across all MBMA technical posts: good written/verbal communication and working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Candidates already employed must produce a No Objection Certificate if called for interview.
