Bachelor's degree with Hindi as a subject; sound knowledge of Assamese & English literature; 6-month Computer Application cert

Qualification — Bengali Translator

Bachelor's degree with Bengali as a subject; sound knowledge of Assamese, English & Bengali literature; 6-month Computer Application cert

Qualification — Karbi Translator

Bachelor's degree (any discipline); sound knowledge of Assamese, English & Karbi language/literature; 6-month Computer Application cert

Additional Details

Recruitment is purely temporary/contractual and terminable without cause; no TA/DA for the interview. The Secretariat reserves the right to forfeit candidature without assigning reason. Only Indian citizens are eligible. Age is reckoned as on 01-01-2026, based on Matriculation/HSLC or equivalent certificate. One vacancy exists per language (Hindi, Bengali, Karbi); shortlisted candidates for each language sit before an interview Board.
