Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university, completed between 01-04-2022 and 01-11-2026
Age limit: 20 to 28 years as on 01-11-2026 (relaxation: SC and ST 5 years, OBC 3 years, PwBD 10 years)
Other: Candidates must first register on the NATS portal and complete their profile 100% before applying. Previous or current apprentices are not eligible. The bank does not guarantee employment after the training.

Indian Bank has announced 1,500 Apprentice training seats across India for the financial year 2026-27 under the Apprentices Act, 1961, including 30 seats in Assam. The training lasts 12 months. It is an apprenticeship and not a regular or contractual bank job, and the bank does not guarantee employment after the training. Candidates can apply for one State or Union Territory only.
How to apply
1. Register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal at https://nats.education.gov.in and complete your profile to 100%.
2. Open the Indian Bank recruitment portal through the Indian Bank website https://www.indianbank.bank.in and select the apprentice notification.
3. Choose one State or Union Territory and fill in the online application form.
4. Upload your photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration in the prescribed sizes.
5. Pay the application fee online and submit the form on or before 25-11-2026.
