Qualification: Recorders Certificate Class Course (RCCC) from the Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon, Guwahati, with proficiency declared in both Survey and Settlement. The result must have been declared before 13-08-2026.

Computer / typing requirement: Computer proficiency. Typing speed of 30 wpm in English and 15 wpm in Assamese/Bengali.

Age limit: 21 to 40 years as on 01-01-2026 (relaxation as per Government of Assam rules)

The Directorate of Land Records & Surveys, Assam has invited online applications for 579 permanent Land Record Assistant posts in the District Commissioners' offices across Assam. Posts in the Sixth Schedule areas are excluded. The recruitment is under Advertisement No. DLR-11013(21)/50/2025/372 dated 19 September 2026. It replaces the 14 March 2026 advertisement for the same post, so applications made under the old notice are not valid. Only candidates who passed the RCCC (both Survey and Settlement) from the Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon, with the result declared before 13 August 2026, are eligible. They must also meet the computer and typing requirements. Selection is through an 80-mark objective written exam on Mathematics and Survey, followed by a 20-mark computer skill test. Shortlisted candidates go through document verification. The written exam and skill test dates are yet to be announced.
