Name of post: Cluster Prevention Officer (CPO)

No of posts: 05 posts

Remuneration: Rs. 45,000/- per month

Educational Qualification:

Essential: Master degree in Social Sciences/ Public Health/Management with 5 years experience in development sector with minimum three (3) years’ work experience in HIV/AIDS preferably in supervisory capacity. The candidate should have sound understanding of issues related to High Risk Group populations and have experience of designing and implementation of Targeted Intervention strategies for high risk groups population such as Female Sex Workers, Transgenders, Injected Drug Users, Migrants, Truckers, Prison.

Desirable: PG diploma in HIV/AIDS or fellowship in HIV/AIDS from any Govt. recognized institution.

The candidate should be familiar with the organization and functions of the state and local public health systems/ State AIDS Control Societies.
# He/She should have excellent written and verbal communication skills in local languages and the ability to work well in an inter-disciplinary team.
# Knowledge of Local language and English (Speaking, Reading and Writing
# Previous experience in the State/ UT is desirable.
# Well versed in Computer and Internet (Word, Excel, Power Point, internet etc.
# Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
# Willingness to travel extensively.

# Interested and eligible candidates must have to apply online. Last date to apply online is 22/08/2024.

# Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the written test and/or viva voce interview. The list of the shortlisted candidates will be published in the Assam State AIDS Control Society’s web site at asacs.assam.gov.in before 10 days of the date of written test and interview. No separate call letters will be issued to the candidates.

# The candidates have to produce all original testimonials i.e., Age proof Certificate,  Educational Qualification, and Experience Certificate and Mark Sheets, Computer Proficiency Certificate at the time of the viva voce interview for document verification. A set of self-attested photocopies of the application form and other testimonials are also to be submitted to the interview board on the date of appearing in the written test/interview.
